Siobhan McGirl is an award-winning journalist.

Currently working as a reporter with NBC Connecticut, Siobhan consistently enterprises story ideas using data and sources to bring unique content to viewers across the state. Her breaking news coverage has been recognized with a Regional Emmy award. She was also honored with a National Edward R. Murrow Award for her investigation into a governor’s tax debt.

Before joining the NBC CT team, Siobhan was a multimedia journalist with WDBJ7, the CBS affiliate in Roanoke, VA. During her time in Virginia, she covered several national stories including the deadly white nationalist attack in Charlottesville.

A 2017 Seton Hall graduate, Siobhan has worked with ABC News 20/20, Nightline, CBS Evening News, ABC7 New York and CBS Philadelphia.
