While working at WDBJ7, my colleague and I teamed up to introduce an important learning initiative to their newsroom. Reporter Paloozas are designed to combine institutional knowledge with fresh talent and energy. Leanna and I started the monthly weekend workshops as a way to combine resources, learn from each other and grow. Now at NBC Connecticut, I have launched the initiative for our newsroom as well.
